The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards

A few of my favourites at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards held on the 13th of February at the LA Staples Center
Florence Welch in Givenchy Couture- the style of this dress is so inline with her
Jennifer Lopez in Christian Louboutins- always a favourite
Ariana Grande- i love this ring and her nail polish
Ariana Grande in BCBG- classic but cute
 Matthew Morrison
Naya Rivera in Ashi Studio- i love this! its the right kind of mullet dress and such a beautiful colour
Nicki Minaj in Givenchy Couture- i think she was the most daring for the evening and outshone Lady Gaga without even trying
 Drake- all in black classic
Ciara in Emilio Pucci- this was daring but still lovely
Janelle Monae in Ralph Lauren- this was so perfect for her and still beautiful
Bruno Mars- looking classic but casual
Monica in Stephane Rolland- i love the structure of this dress and the flow, just perfect
Keri Hilson in Basil Soda- daring enough and a beautiful colour combo
Bonnie McKee in a fading orange mullet dress- i loved the colours and i loved her shoes
Anna Nalick in Ashi Studio- i loved this, it was cute but daring in a polite way!

Jo'burg Fashion Week 2011

The time has come for fashion week all around the world, and this year myself and my sisters were fortunate enough to attend the Errol Arendz show at the Bus Factory and the Kluk CGDT show at the Rand Club. Both shows were absolutely amazing but completely opposite which was so great for us as we got to experience the two opposite sides of fashion week in one night! Errol Arendz was young, chic and fun with bold colours and smooth patterns, whereas Kluk CGDT was high-end classic, with bold pieces and thick patterns. Totally different styles but so interesting to see them so close together. There were so many pieces I loved from each of them and the vibe was just amazing. I could do that every day of my life! It really reminded me why I love fashion so much, and how it is such an intense art. I cannot wait for the next fashion week as after my experience last night, i don’t think I’ll be missing another one ever again. Next step, New York Fashion week!

(Iv only been able to upload some of my photos so more will come later in the week)
